I think reporters and those alike should give blacks, whites, hispanics etc the benefit of the doubt in reference to how we vote. As an american of african descent, I study the issues, the candidates and make an informed decision. It is an insult to make a blank statement that Obama is not appealing to us and therefore we are not going to vote for him for that reason or any other simple reason.

My response would be to question what ithas to do with anything. It really is pretty silly, and it’s doubtful many will be taken in by it, except those too far right to ever be Obama supporters to begin with.

We need to find positive ways to counter this type of suggestion and innuendo - it’s so hard to do something other than blast back with some derogatory retort…I keep asking myself: “How Would Barack Respond?” - or - “WWBD” What Would Barack Do?
