Not that he did not defend Obama, but that Sharpton allowed O'Reilly to frame the argument to "what Obama has done for black people lately". The serious work of government is about all the American people not just black people. Why does it matter what Obama has done for me or my people, to me Sharpton allowed O'Reilly to force the idea that blacks are looking for someone to do something "for them".
