As someone who identifies as a mixed person, I have to ask if it's that difficult a concept to understand: concepts of identity, social constructs of race, and historical ramifications? Are there a lot of people I like her? I emailed that woman and told her to pick up a few books on the subject. Sigh. God, this hurts my feelings.
