The black individual whites (read: liberals) seek is the "Magic Negro". The parody references Ehrenstien's article and concerns from the black community (ie Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson) challenging Obama's "inauthenticty," as compared to such sterling examples of "genuine" blackness as Al Sharpton and Snoop Dogg.
